Classic Polo's brand new off-the-wall innovation is the slim fit surprise package of FRESCO tees. Made up of single jersey 100 per cent cotton, the new category perfectly blends with `try-it-out' mood of the young and old alike. The luxury of silk and the comfort of tencel rolled into one. It contains 5.7% silk, 11.8% cotton, 33.9% of viscose and 48.6% of tencel. Highly prized for its softness, luster, insulating properties, and strength, Tencel is the registered trade name for Lyocell, which is a biodegradable fabric, made from wood pulp cellulose which gives more softness and moisture absorbency. Viscose is a type of rayon, made from specially processed wood pulp. Viscose is soft and absorbent (nearly twice that of cotton) and very comfortable against the skin. Classic Polo has also introduced the magic of modal cotton. It is soft, smooth and breathes well. Its texture is similar to that of silk.
It is cool to touch and very absorbent. One of the advantages of modal over cotton is its resistance to shrinkage, a notorious problem with cotton. Modal is also less likely to fade or to form pills as a result of friction. Its smoothness also makes hard water deposits less likely to adhere to the surface, so the fabric stays soft through repeated washings.
